ALEXANDRA KIRK: The Opposition's already looking beyond Garnaut because Emissions Trading spokesman, Andrew Robb, says the Government's demoted the professor to just one input.
ANDREW ROBB: The government has relegated the Garnaut report to irrelevancy; they've said it's no different than 733 other contributors to the Green Paper. Some 20 months out from the trading scheme being scheduled to start, people have no idea what the government has in mind.
What have they been doing for 12 months?
This is a shemozzle, honestly the government has to get its act together or we're going to see some very serious impacts on investment, on confidence and on future economic prosperity.
