ANDREW ROBB: The Prime Minister most certainly needs to be careful and open and practical. The trouble is he is saying one thing and doing another.
ALEXANDRA KIRK: The Coalition’s emissions trading spokesman Andrew Robb says not modelling the effect of the global financial crisis is a big miss.
ANDREW ROBB: To have a model which doesn’t incorporate the worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression and then assume that that model is going to tell them anything of consequence and anything of value is just misleading and it’s dangerous, and they run the real risk, like the deposit guarantee, of rushing something and then bungling it.
