Goldstein Media Releases, Community
Andrew Robb, the Federal Member for Goldstein, is pleased to congratulate the bayside community organisations who were successful in receiving Volunteer Small Equipment Grants from the Federal Government.
“Volunteer and community groups play a vital role in our society. These grants are designed to help these groups continue their important work in the bayside community through providing assistance to purchase equipment that they need to help their organisations to run.” said Andrew Robb.
“I am pleased to congratulate The Holland Foundation, Bentleigh West Primary School Parents Association, Marine Care - Ricketts Point, Black Rock Surf Life Saving Clubs, Bayside Support and Information Service, St Stephens Anglican Church, St Kevin’s Primary School Parents and Friends Association, Classic Residences Brighton, McKinnon Cricket Club, Association of Independent Retirees and the Beaumaris Surf Life Saving Club on their success.”
“The bayside area has performed strongly this time with the Volunteer Small Equipment Grants. I am thrilled to announce eleven recipients who will receive more than $12,000 in total funding.”
“This funding will help these groups buy equipment such as computers, cameras, barbecues and microwaves.”
These grants form part of the Australian Government’s commitment to building strong communities.
