Goldstein Media Releases, Personal
Last night Ms Tammy van Wisse, holder of 6 world marathon swimming records and motivational speaker, officially launched Andrew Robb’s election campaign at the recently opened campaign office located on Bluff Road, Highett.
Ms van Wisse said Andrew Robb’s drive and determination to make Goldstein and also Australia a better place to live, work and bring up a family is something we should all greatly admire.
“The quality of life we enjoy today is a direct result of the Federal Government’s hard work over the last 11 years. It hasn’t happened by accident, it is the result of strong leadership and a government that has had the backbone to make the hard decisions when they are required.
We face a big decision over the coming weeks but if we want another 20 years of economic prosperity then every vote on November 24 is going to be vitally important,” Ms van Wisse said.
With the polling day now less than a month away, Andrew Robb spoke of the critical decision Goldstein constituents will have to make over the coming weeks.
“We must win because when you change government, you do change the country and Australia has changed for the better because of the Howard/Costello Government. We have become once again a dynamic, enterprising can do society. If we lose and Labor wins government it will be for the worse.
“Over the coming weeks, the Coalition will announce bold policies that will build on the $34 billion worth of tax reforms, the $4 billion worth of increased support for older Australians and the establishment of another 100 Australian Technical Colleges.
“All the challenges we have as a community, such as climate change, health, water conversation and so on are best tackled from a position of financial strength. The Howard/Costello Government has the experience, the capacity and the knowledge to deliver the best outcomes for the people of Goldstein and Australia,” Andrew Robb said.
