The Federal Member for Goldstein, Andrew Robb has today congratulated both Margarita Kuperman, Medicare Australia and Lorraine Kent, Centrelink on receiving the Minister for Human Services awards for exemplary service to the local Bayside community.
Andrew Robb presented both awards at the Bentleigh Medicare office. These awards are in recognition of employees within the Human Services agencies who have provided outstanding service to the public.
“It is my great pleasure to formally recognise the wonderful work that both Margarita and Lorraine carry out within our community. They have provided exemplary service to those in our community who are most in need and for this they must be greatly commended,” Andrew Robb said.
The Minister for Human Services awards for exemplary service reflect the growing importance of providing good customer service to make it easier for the community to deal with Human Services’ agencies.
“I cannot overstate Margaritas’ value to the local residents of Bayside which is why I nominated her for this award. She has continually provided friendly, timely and outstanding service to all those who she deals with.
“Lorraine, who until recently worked at the Cheltenham Centrelink Customer Service Centre has for the last 20 years dedicated herself to supporting and building close links with the local community and I feel this award goes some way in recognising this level of commitment and professionalism,” Robb said.
