JUNE 7th, 2020 - Andrew Robb today completely rejected the assertions and innuendo made in a piece of gutter journalism in the Sunday Age newspaper.
“Contrary to assertions in the article neither I nor my fellow Directors have ever had any dealings with Shane Charter,” said Andrew Robb.
“The loan in question has at all times been held, and still is held by his brother Craig Charter, a long-standing finance broker and upstanding businessman.
The inference the journalist is making that we knew of any business dealings between the Charter brothers is not true. We have not been aware that they are linked in business in any way.
As such, the whole article is based on a complete falsehood, and is slanderous and defamatory.
The article appears to be a scurrilous attempt to damage my reputation, with no thought given to the impact on the investors and management of our wonderful Global Brands company.”
