Former trade minister Andrew Robb will advise a Geelong start-up that's invented a genetic guide to antidepressant drug dosage, in the mental health advocate's first corporate role since retiring from politics at the recent federal election.
“I didn’t want to look back later and see that, despite the architecture being put in place, it wasn’t being fully used,” he says. “I think I’m as well placed as anyone to help companies from both sides make the most of it.”
Andrew Robb struck a regretful note as he confirmed his departure from politics in federal Parliament on Thursday, reminding his colleagues he had started late in the place at the age of 53.
